What we build, who it's for, and how the body-level data and intelligence layer works.
Aurmada is a body-level data and intelligence company. We build wearable systems — beginning with protective apparel — that capture, process, and coordinate real-time information from the humans and machines working in demanding, high-stakes environments.
Layer 1 Shield is Aurmada's bullet-resistant base layer — ballistic protection engineered to be worn like everyday clothing. It's rated to stop up to 9 mm rounds, comes in long-sleeve, short-sleeve, and sleeveless cuts, and doubles as the housing for Aurmada's on-body sensing and compute.
Aurmada is built for teams that operate where failure carries real consequences — defense, security, industrial, and emergency-response operators — and for enterprises coordinating people and machines in the field.
Aurmada's hardware is designed and assembled in Toronto, Canada.
Aurmada is deploying with early enterprise and government partners. To discuss a pilot, deployment, or partnership, reach out through the inquiry form or at team@aurmada.com.
Protective apparel is our deployment vector — not the market. Aurmada is building a real-time data and intelligence layer at the body level — capturing, processing, and coordinating information directly from humans and machines operating in complex environments.
To do that, we need a physical interface that is always present, reliable, and trusted. Protective garments provide exactly that:
Layer 1 lets us deploy hardware in the field today, generate early revenue, and establish system trust. From there we expand into a full stack — Layer 1 (Interface), Layer 2 (Sensing & Compute), and Layer 3 (Intelligence Network). The long-term opportunity is not apparel — it's a global infrastructure layer for human–machine operations.
Aurmada is not an apparel company — it is a body-level data infrastructure company. Traditional brands optimize for design, brand, and distribution; we build integrated systems that combine hardware, data, and intelligence.
Our defensibility comes from:
This positions Aurmada closer to Palantir + NVIDIA at the body layer than a traditional apparel company.
We don't compete on cost — we compete on capability and outcomes. Aurmada operates in environments where failure has real consequences, visibility is limited, and decisions need to happen in real time. In these contexts, better data and coordination are more valuable than cheaper equipment.
Our advantage comes from:
As adoption grows, we benefit from economies of system design and data, not commodity pricing.
Aurmada follows a stacked infrastructure model, where each layer increases margin and defensibility:
Over time, revenue shifts from hardware → platform → data, with increasing margins and lock-in.
Three structural shifts are converging:
Despite this, there is no standardized way to capture and act on real-time data from the body level. Aurmada is building that missing layer — a real-time data infrastructure that connects humans, machines, and environments into one coordinated system.
